Please click here to view the Monthly Calendar	UPCOMING EVENTS AT HUCC May 11, 2008, Sunday -11am - Pentecost Sunday: We celebrate the birth of the Christian church with a service that includes color, dance, and music. Everyone is invited to wear red, orange or yellow to celebrate this spirit of God among us. May 18, 2008 - Sunday - HUCC will join churches across the nation in a dialogue on race; in hopes of beginning a sacred conversation; a dialogue that is needed in our pews, our homes and the hallways of power across our country. June 1, 2008, Sunday - 11 am - Blessing of the Animals--All creatures great and small are invited to HUCC for a special Blessing of the Animals Service. All pets are welcome. (If they bite or sting, please contain them properly.) Children are invited to bring their stuffed animals as well. If you are unable or you to bring your animal or would like to remember a beloved pet that has died, we invite you to bring a picture. HUCC’s ministers will lead us in a service of song and prayer and gratitude for the gift of companionship and love our pets provide us. Each critter – real and stuffed – will be given a blessing from the ministers. The service will take place outdoors so humans and animals can be comfortable.
